A Lord Thompson Manor wedding is priced as a complete weekend at a private historic estate — not a venue fee with a long list of add-ons. When you book with us, your investment covers an experience that most couples would need to coordinate across a dozen separate vendors.  We want you to understand exactly what you’re getting before we talk numbers. Because when couples compare Lord Thompson Manor to other venues on price alone, they’re not comparing the same thing.

Overnight accommodations across the historic Manor and Cottage House

SATURDAY

Full exclusive use of the private 42-acre estate

KISS Spa at The Cottage House — private hair, makeup, and treatments for the bridal party

Ceremony — outdoor on the historic Olmsted grounds or indoor in the Great Hall

Cocktail hour with passed hors d'oeuvres and stations

Reception — multi-course dinner by our James Beard Foundation-celebrated team

Investment Range

Lord Thompson Manor weddings are custom-priced based on guest count, season, and services. Our peak season runs May through October; off-peak pricing is available for March, April, November, and December.  To receive a detailed proposal tailored to your guest count and preferred dates, contact our team. Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. As part of your private weekend rental, all rooms at the historic Manor and Cottage House are reserved for your party for both nights. This ensures complete privacy for your celebration.

Up to approximately 150–200 guests for the reception. The 13 private guest rooms are reserved for your wedding party and immediate family.

No. The ceremony — whether held outdoors on our historic Olmsted grounds or in the Great Hall — is included in the weekend package.

Until 2 a.m. Since you and your guests are staying on the private estate, there is no rush to close.

Yes. March, April, November, and December offer lower investment levels than our peak season.

Most couples book 12–24 months in advance. Peak Saturdays — particularly May, September, and October — book first.
